Unfortunately, instead of having their focus solely on education, schoolchildren are worried about bullying and harassment. Cyber bullying also has been a problem for several years, and it can be extremely damaging to children, especially when it is not addressed.

Research shows that over 40 percent of children have been bullied online, and 1 in 4 have been bullied more than once. Very few children inform a parent or trusted adult of the abuse. Victims of bullying and harassment are at greater risk of decreased academic performance, decreased self-esteem, and even suicide.
